Background:
Digitalization
has
profoundly
impacted
the
construction
sector,
offering
tools
and
technologies
that
promise
increased
efficiency,
accuracy,
collaboration.
Nevertheless,
integration
of
these
digital
solutions,
notably
Building
Information
Modeling
(BIM),
can
be
impeded
by
a
set
fundamental
barriers
known
as
enablers
poverty.
These
encompass
range
challenges
quantity
surveyors
face
in
Lagos
State
when
attempting
to
embrace
BIM
other
tools.
Objective:
The
objective
this
study
is
pinpoint,
classify,
assess
factors
enable
poverty
it
comes
implementing
within
community
State,
Nigeria.
By
understanding
enablers,
stakeholders
develop
targeted
strategies
alleviate
promote
inclusion
field
surveying.
Methods:
A
quantitative
research
method
was
utilized,
employing
questionnaire
survey
collect
information
from
State.
used
designed
demographic
data
evaluate
contributing
collected
were
analyzed
using
mean
item
score
subjected
exploratory
factor
analysis
(EFA)
uncover
hidden
groups
or
patterns
among
factors.
Results:
EFA
exposed
five
distinct
clusters
poverty:
Exploration
Enablers—Factors
related
creating
an
enabling
environment
for
adoption,
including
limited
financial
resources,
inadequate
institutional
arrangements,
lack
awareness;
Incognizant
reflecting
knowledge
awareness,
such
erratic
power
supply
insufficient
government
support;
Compliance
associated
with
complying
new
practices,
resistance
change
traditional
methods
scarcity
specialists;
Infrastructural
Enablers—Challenges
linked
infrastructure,
high
costs
investment
software/hardware
upgrades;
Automation
adoption

unsupportive
