Abstract This study employed a person-centred approach to investigate the digital divide in South Korea and its impact on life satisfaction among individuals. Six latent profiles were identified based following factors: device literacy, social capital, self-efficacy. These factors denote different levels of divide, highlighting multifaceted nature this issue importance considering multiple that contribute inequality. Additionally, sociodemographic variables such as age, gender, educational level found play role determining group membership, emphasising need understand underlying causes divide. Variations groups emphasise their effects well-being. The findings can be used inform targeted policies interventions bridge Korea. To end, provides data for designing tailored education, networking, support vulnerable groups.

Abstract The digital divide between rural and urban areas is becoming the key factors resulting educational imbalance, which might be exacerbated by differences in teachers’ teaching competence.
