This article explores the legal nature of digital financial assets (DFAs) within civil rights. DFAs, including cryptocurrencies and tokens, challenge traditional concepts due to their decentralized intangible nature. The study addresses key issues such as ownership rights, enforceability obligations, jurisdictional conflicts in cross-border transactions. A comparative analysis regulatory frameworks European Union, United States, Russia, Uzbekistan reveals lack uniformity DFA treatment. Special focus is given Uzbekistan’s progressive approach under Digital 2030 initiative. research adopts a qualitative, doctrinal, document methodology, supported by case studies analysis. findings identify significant gaps, particularly regarding integration into systems. suggests need for comprehensive reforms harmonize regulations ensure clarity. conclusion emphasizes importance aligning with emerging trends.
