Artificial intelligence is one of the information and communication technologies that has promoted major transformations in organizations their production processes, especially material handling. Purpose Based on social exchange and resource dependence theories, this research investigates how manufacturing firms’ commitment to low-carbon operations management (CLCOM) prompts carbon performance (MCP) through supply chain collaboration (SCC), as well the moderating role of risk (SCRM). Design/methodology/approach This study verifies hypotheses employing hierarchical regression analysis bootstrapping methods an online survey 297 Chinese manufacturers. Findings The results demonstrate that manufacturers’ SCC mediates influence affective continuance CLCOM MCP. SCRM dampens link between SCC. Further, heightens relationship CLCOM–low-carbon with suppliers, but does not enhance level customers. Against the backdrop of global economic changes and rapid technological innovation, sharing economy model is gradually transforming operational mechanisms traditional industries. However, some industries have experienced stagnation recession during this transition, leading to market development constraints. The necessity study lies in filling gap existing literature by conducting an in-depth analysis critical factors contributing industrial economy. This aims provide concrete countermeasures for businesses policymakers. novelty research integrating multiple key variables affecting development, including green production concepts, circular economy, large-scale production, high-quality product demand driven automation, smart production. By employing multi-criterion decision-making methods, we quantitatively assess impact these more accurately. employs Multi-Attribute Decision-Making (MADM) model, Trial Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) Analytic Network Process (ANP) form D&ANP analytical research.
