The Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022 has significantly impacted the subjective well-being Ukrainian Information Technology specialists, challenging their internal resilience resources, such as belief a just world and existential fulfillment. This exploratory study investigates how wartime conditions influenced these professionals’ resources well-being. Two independent samples participated two time points, 80 specialists 2021, before (42.5% women; M = 35.33 years; SD 7.77), 77 2022, during (48.05% 34.48; 7.43). Moderation mediation analyses were applied to examine roles personal world, fulfillment, age, gender. Findings reveal considerable decline weakening with exception general world. In the evolving digital work environment, rising prevalence of generative AI tools presents a complex challenge for practitioners: deciding whether to allow or restrict their use in organizational settings. Our research contributes expanding broaden-and-build theory and job demands-resources model (JD-R) within context usage. This study investigates impact on employees' perceived overload, focusing mediating role employee adaptability.
