Human resources (HR) management is vital in developing organizational performance and profit maximization. Small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) emerging start-ups struggle to establish a functioning HR department, while larger organizations tend reinvent their functions with updated visions strategies. The role of practice yields more attention SMEs growing because increased failure rate. However, hindered by various challenges, selecting suitable practices for start-up companies has become difficult. This study investigates key challenges when choosing appropriate based on fuzzy decision-making trial evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) method. Firstly, 43 were identified through literature survey consultation experts. Later, considering the imprecise subjective nature DEMATEL method human judgments, approach proposed investigate significance cause–effect relationships among them. ABSTRACT The well‐being of employees in the banking industry remains vital quality work life (QWL) and balance (WLB) research. Building on need‐satisfaction theory spillover theories, this research tests a model that examines effects work‐family conflict (WFC) family‐work‐conflict (FWC) QWL bank India. Further, nexus between QWL, job satisfaction, WLB are investigated. This study also moderating effect employee commitment cognitive engagement enhancing satisfaction. Data were collected from 597 four cities southern India to test moderated moderated‐mediation model. After checking measurement properties survey instrument using LISREL package structural equation modeling, hierarchical regression, PROCESS macros used validate key findings indicate (i) WFC FWC have adverse (ii) is positively associated with satisfaction (iii) mediated relationship (iv) significant predictor WLB. results supported strengthened (second moderator) (first interacted influencing three‐way interaction commitment, novel idea significantly contributes literature organizational behavior human resource management. provides valuable insights for future researchers practicing managers.
