This study focuses on developing and implementing zero-carbon buildings through the integration of multiple systems to meet China’s carbon neutrality goals. It emphasizes significant role building sector in emissions highlights challenge increasing energy consumption conflicting with “dual carbon” targets. To address this, research proposes a comprehensive framework that combines multifunctional envelope structure (MES) systems, photovoltaic power generation, storage, direct current (DC) flexible management (PEDF), regional stations. integrates different technologies such as phase change materials, radiation cooling, mineralized cement, aiming reduce throughout building’s lifecycle. The method has been successfully applied Yazhou Bay Zero Carbon Post Station project Sanya, Hainan, precise calculations emission reductions. revealed reduction 44.13 tons CO2 annually, totaling 1103.31 over 25 years, primarily due rooftop systems. demonstrates multi-system can contribute broader approach, if widely adopted, could accelerate transition carbon-neutral China.
