Achieving the sustainable development goals puts new demands on land use/land cover (LULC) forecasting and thermal environment improvement. Local climate zone (LCZ) characterization reduces LULC uncertainty in research. This study designed a future multiscenario LCZ assessment framework that integrates remote sensing images, patch-level use simulation model, contribution algorithm. An urban heat island (UHI) classification was used to represent degree of hazard. We sought quantitatively evaluate spatiotemporal distribution its hazard explore coordination mode patterns environment. considered four scenarios: natural scenario (NDS), (UDS), food security scenario, ecological protection scenario. The results show Shenyang metropolitan area has experienced large-scale urbanization, forming main UHI areas with Shenyang–Fushun, Liaoyang–Anshan, Fuxin as core. is expected become first for management future. produce hazards are mainly distributed D building-LCZs. By 2060, average UDS increase by 1.035 °C NDS 0.286 compared 2020. From perspective "historical future," provide theoretical reference continuous improvement environmental quality era, promoting coordinated actively responding change.

Urbanization is a multifaceted process characterized by changes in urban areas through various means, such as sprawl, ribbon development, or infill and compact growth. This phenomenon the pattern of local climate zone (LCZ) significantly affects climate, vegetation dynamics, energy consumption, water resources, public health. study aims to discern impacts growth on LCZ land surface temperature (LST) over two-decade period. A comprehensive methodology that integrates statistical analysis, data visualization, machine learning, advanced techniques, remote sensing technology geospatial analysis systems, employed. ENVI, GEE, GIS tools are utilized collect, process, monitor satellite imagery temporal spatial variations intensive diffuse urbanization processes from 2003 2023 analyze simulate use cover (LULC) changes, index (UI), patterns, LST years make overlapping maps recognize relation between LULC, LCZ, LST. focuses Seville’s area, which has experienced rapid significant increase average during last few decades. The findings this will provide actionable recommendations into interplay highlight pivotal role shaping resilience vulnerable based microclimate changes. Urban planners can leverage these insights predict alternatives for future development define practical mitigation strategies.
