To understand the slow adoption of blockchain technology by organisations, we conduct a systematic literature review factors using mixed-methods approach. Using thematic analysis, 880 are identified and grouped into 29 themes, which offer comprehensive overview literature. statistical dissected technological (T), organisational (O), environmental (E) dimensions (the TOE framework). Themes further classified as barriers (B), enablers (En), ambiguous (A) to describe firm's readiness for BEnA We emphasise multidimensionality across conditionality dimensions. Analysis research trends shows that recent has focused on elaborating upon existing themes (involution) rather than developing new (evolution). Based our analyses, propose future directions, including scrutinising interdependence factors, examining with conditional or unclear effects adoption, broadening contextual, temporal, theoretical aspects research.

As cities have become more populated and urbanized, governments faced several challenges in effectively managing cities. To overcome these challenges, transitioning to smart using advanced technologies has a viable solution. This article primarily centers on the role implementation of operational excellence (OPEX) technologies, such as Internet Things (IoT), blockchain, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, 5G, edge computing cities, particularly context supply chain. A systematic literature review, conducted Scopus Web Science databases, identified 33 articles related application OPEX chain (SCSC). The revealed that IoT blockchain are most commonly used create secure transparent platform for data collection storage SCSC. Advanced enable process monitoring control, increasing customer trust satisfaction However, integrating with SCSC management still needs be explored. Despite progress developing improving OPEX, much done. highlighted research gaps this area need addressed future research.

Abstract The integration of artificial intelligence (AI), particularly generative AI (GenAI) and large language models (LLMs), into systematic literature reviews (SLRs) represents a transformative advancement in research methodologies. This paper proposes hybrid framework combining AI’s computational power with the epistemological rigor human expertise, anchored transparency, validity, reliability, comprehensiveness, reflective agency. Through three interconnected phases—design, study collection, interpretation—the employs model selection, knowledge base curation, iterative prompt engineering to enhance scalability, uncover interdisciplinary connections, ensure methodological integrity through robust oversight. It addresses key SLR challenges, including handling vast datasets, ensuring reproducibility, maintaining epistemic while leveraging advanced capabilities. Key innovations include cyclical validation, inter-model comparisons, sensitivity testing trustworthiness mitigate biases. aligns processes ethical standards objectives by emphasizing domain-specific LLMs, reliability metrics, standardized reporting protocols. establishes SLRs as foundation for advancing complex, landscapes, harmonizing efficiency expertise.
