Purpose With the crescent globalisation together with economic and food crisis, consumers are increasingly confronted products from different origins appeals to consume “national”. If many can be related a specific region or country, sold as commodities Portuguese origin indication. One factor influencing purchase behaviour of domestic is consumer ethnocentrism (CE) characteristic. The aim this paper study consumers' intention towards “produce in Portugal” fruits vegetables applying CE extended model theory planned (TPB). Design/methodology/approach A questionnaire was presented random sample 700 individuals older than 18 responsible for household by computer-assisted telephone interview (CAT) system. Structural equation modelling (SEM) conducted examine direct indirect effects attitude (ATT), subjective norms (SuBNs), perceived behavioural controls (PBCNTRLs), self-congruity on fresh purchases. Findings suggest that TPB applicable determining buy Portugal. has been shown successfully influence intention. Research limitations/implications This provides industry retail informative basis about which mechanisms underlie food. Also, useful insight into how categories label affect intentions, serve communication strategies order increase vegetables. New should studied. Originality/value gives new approach ethnocentric tendencies opens discussion low value products. first behaviour.

Abstract The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in agriculture is expected to yield advantages such as savings production resources, labor costs, and working hours well a reduction soil compaction. However, the economic ecological benefits AI systems for can only be realized if farmers are willing them. This study applies technology acceptance model (TAM) Davis (1989) theory planned behavior (TPB) Ajzen (1991) investigate which behavioral factors influencing agriculture. composite extended by two additional factors, expectation property rights over business data personal innovativeness. A structural equation analysis used determine importance For this purpose, 84 were surveyed with letter or an online questionnaire. Results show that perceived control has greatest influence on acceptance, followed farmers’ attitude towards modelled relationships explain 59% total variance acceptance. Solar PV (photovoltaic) technology has gained considerable attention worldwide, as it can help reduce the adverse effects of CO2 emissions. Though government Pakistan is adopting solar due to its environmental friendliness nature, studies focusing on consumer’s acceptance are limited in country. This research aims close this knowledge gap by looking into various considerations that may influence consumers’ willingness adopt (WTA) for household purposes. The study further contributes expanding conceptual framework theory planned behavior including three novel factors (perceived risk, perception self-efficacy, and openness technology). analysis based questionnaire data collected from 683 households Pakistan’s provincial capitals, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Gilgit, Karachi. proposed hypotheses investigated using state-of-the-art structural equation modeling approach. empirical results reveal social norms, belief about benefits positively WTA PV. On contrary, perceived risk cost have negative effects. Notably, an insignificant effect. officials policymakers explore cost-effective, risk-free technologies lessen burden make country more sustainable. Based results, limitations, well prospective directions, also addressed.

There is a need trace products before reaches customers check quality of so that expired be recycled reused, which turn will help gain customers' trust. This research aims investigate employees' behavioural intention adopt blockchain SC. Design/methodology/approach To examine employees SC, uses three theories – technology acceptance model; unified theory use technology; planned behaviour. The model measures employee's used this measure how adoption improve performance employees. behaviour whether intend blockchain. A survey was carried out stores India.
