Zinc deficiency affects the physical and intellectual development of school-age children, while studies on effects intestinal microbes metabolites in children have not been reported. School-age were enrolled to conduct anthropometric measurements serum zinc inflammatory factors detection, divided into a group (ZD) control (CK) based results zinc. Stool samples collected metagenome, metabolome, diversity analysis, species composition functional annotation, correlation analysis conducted further explore function gut flora with deficiency. Beta-diversity revealed significantly different microbial community between ZD CK groups. For instance, relative abundances Phocaeicola vulgatus, Alistipes putredinis, Bacteroides uniformis, sp000434735, Coprococcus eutactus more enriched group, probiotic bacteria Bifidobacterium kashiwanohense showed reverse trend. The profile was also under influence deficiency, as reflected by higher levels various glycoside hydrolases group. In addition, saccharin, pro-inflammatory metabolites, taurocholic acid, potential factor inducing leakage, conclusion, may disturb microbiome metabolic potentially affecting human health.
