ABSTRACT Foodborne diseases (FBDs) constitute a significant health problem worldwide, and unhealthy food handling practices cause their transmission in the population. There is limited information on safety knowledge, attitudes, (KAP) among veterinary students worldwide. This was first study to address KAP Brazil. Data from 226 were collected through an online questionnaire that included four sections: demographic characteristics, practices. High levels of knowledge (17.77) attitudes (16.82) found; however, (10.62) average. The results showed most had satisfactory (100%) good (99.12%). However, 56.64% Gender marital status influenced while age all attributes. Both years training affected attitude. It found with more those who already taken courses higher mean scores for these Training should be emphasized strengthen students.
