Abstract Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is the early stage of between expected decline normal aging and more serious dementia. This meta-analysis systematic review explored pooled global prevalence MCI among older adults living in nursing homes its relevant factors. The protocol was registered INPLASY (INPLASY202250098). PubMed, Web Science, Embase, PsycINFO, CINAHL databases were systematically searched from their respective inception dates to 8 January 2022. inclusion criteria made based on PICOS acronym, as follows: Participants ( P ): Older homes; Intervention I not applicable; Comparison C Outcome O or data can generate according study-defined criteria; Study design (S): cohort studies (only baseline extracted) cross-sectional with accessible published a peer-reviewed journal. Studies involving mixed resources, reviews, meta-analyses, case studies, commentaries excluded. Data analyses performed using Stata Version 15.0. Random effects model used synthesize overall MCI. An 8-item instrument for epidemiological assess quality included studies. A total 53 articles 376,039 participants mean age ranging 64.42 86.90 years 17 countries. 21.2% (95% CI: 18.7–23.6%). Subgroup meta-regression revealed that screening tools significantly associated prevalence. Montreal Cognitive Assessment (49.8%) had higher than those other instruments. No significant publication bias found. Several limitations warrant attention this study; example, heterogeneity remained some factors examined due insufficient data. Adequate measures allocation resources are needed address high homes.

Abstract The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has a disproportionate impact on vulnerable subpopulations, including those with severe mental illness (SMI). This study examined the one-year prevalence of suicidal ideation (SI), suicide plans (SP), and attempts (SA) in bipolar disorder (BD) schizophrenia (SCZ) patients during pandemic. Prevalence rates were compared between two disorders associated factors examined. A survey was conducted six tertiary psychiatric hospitals units. People diagnosis BD or SCZ invited to participate. SI, SP, SA (suicidality for short) assessed using binary logistical regression. 1-year SP 58.3%, (95% CI: 54.1–62.6%), 38.4% 34.3–42.6%) 38.6% 34.5–42.8%), respectively, which higher than corresponding figures (SI: 33.2%, 95% 28.6–37.8%; SP: 16.8%, 13.2–20.5%; SA: 19.4%, 15.5–23.3%). Patients younger age, experience cyberbullying, history among family friends, fatigue physical pain score, inpatient status, depressive symptoms more likely have suicidality. COVID-19 increased risk suicidality, particularly patients. It is importance regularly screen suicidality even if they are clinically stable.

Nearly a half schizophrenic patients have depressive symptoms and even some impulsive behaviors. definite diagnosis an immense challenge. Molecular biology plays essential role in the research on schizophrenia. In both patient group control group, brain-derived neurotrophic (BDNF), phosphatidylin-ositol-3-kinase (PI3K), kinase B (AKT), cAMP-response element binding (CREB) peripheral blood were tested by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). evaluated Chinese versions Calgary Depression Scale for Schizophrenia (CDSS) Short UPPS-P Impulsive Behavior (S-UPPS-P), respectively. Results BDNF, PI3K, CREB lower than those while AKT level, total CDSS score S-UPPS-P all higher. score, correlated negatively but positively lack-of-premeditation (PR) sub-scale was not significantly AKT, levels. Objective Many adolescents with non suicidal self injury disorder have ideation. However, the specific characteristics of NSSI-D that contribute to high suicide risk remain unclear. This study observes association between depressive and anxiety symptoms among disorder, explores mechanism underlying in this population. Method Adolescents their parents from a psychiatric outpatient clinic were selected conduct paper questionnaires measure sociodemographic conditions. The Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interviews’ Suicidality Module(MINISM) was used assess participants. Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS), Anxiety Scale(SAS), Piers-Harris Children’s Self-Concept Scale(PHCSS) symptoms, self-concept disorder. According cutoff value MINISM, sample divided into group non-high group. We performed descriptive correlation statistical network analysis types associated adolescents. Results A total 112 adolescent participants included study. Severe symptoms(OR=8.205, 95%CI=3.454-19.490) severe symptoms(OR=3.926, 95%CI=1.613-9.554) are suicide. father’s college/university education(p<0.01) is low self-concept(p<0.01) symptoms. Network suggests centrality education level. Conclusion results suggest related (based on MINISM) significantly, Interventions targeting may help reduce risk.

Results:The subpopulation suicide attempts had longer time education than (11.9 vs 9.7 years).Patients aggression lower levels comorbid concomitant aggression. For MAOA G/G genotype tendency statistical significance observed among burdened by comparison significantly higher A/G cases controls. In case COMT polymorphism, reported less often group). Conclusion: Compared either only tendencies or those characterised poorer social performance.Genetic variation may be factor impulsive like especially aggression.
