Abstract The Malpighian tubules are well-known and studied as the principal excretory organs in most insects. They play a key role production of primary urine osmoregulation. It works with rectum while regulating water salt balance body. distal ends found contact wall insects that feed on dry substances or live nearly environment therefore, need to retain water: is an arrangement known cryptonephric system. In this study, Cassida palaestina Reiche, 1858 beetle species belonging order Coleoptera was used material, morphological features were examined using light microscopy scanning electron microscopy. four C. at junction midgut hindgut. apical surface tubule cells surrounded by numerous microvilli. cytoplasm fills granules many different sizes. Here, we reported our observations cryptonephridial complex , study almost first examine structure system genus Cassida. Insights into compared well-studied complexes Cucujiformia. findings be quite similar those other literature (with within same from orders). These data basis for future studies. At time, presence absence among Cucujiformia infraorder, which part of, helps understand phylogenetic relationship.
