Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) has significantly hampered the regular workflow for allergists and allergy departments. The purpose of this review is to highlight our own experiences on SARS-CoV-2 as well discuss findings from literature.Vaccination against needed protection severe infection. Skin reactions may arise with infections. Short-term general immune skin are also possible upon vaccination; however, they recur in only a proportion patients during follow-up vaccinations. Initial reports anaphylaxis after vaccination fueled public fear. On other hand, more recent epidemiologic data do not show substantially increased risk compared vaccines. Fear-related be essential many "anaphylaxis" reports. In Germany, flow chart developed by Paul-Ehrlich-Institut (PEI) Robert-Koch-Institut (RKI) together allergological societies helps care suspected "allergy history" safely effectively. Through this, vaccines their ingredients (e.g., polyethylene glycol (PEG), polysorbate 80) identified. However, since small amounts these excipients contained mRNA vaccines, even some PEG-allergic can tolerate vaccination. an test-guided procedure recommended high-risk patients, including history, prick tests, intradermal basophil activation and, if necessary, provocation tests. This appears effective anxiety reduction skepticism. To date, all have been able vaccinated without occurrence significant reactions. Many initial concerns about unexpected side effects confirmed. The flowchart case suspicion hypersensitivity, assessment reduce patients' fear enables safe

Summary Vaccination is a fundamental principle of preventive health care. Administration the vaccine, which contains antigen(s) pathogen, activates immune system and provides protection against infection. The immunogenicity allergenicity vaccine may lead to various adverse reactions, depending on responsiveness susceptibility vaccinated individual. Cutaneous events are among most common can manifest as local or generalized vaccination reactions. Understanding their pathogenesis clinical manifestations essential for therapy, further diagnostic clarification if necessary, managing any booster that be required. Appropriate dermatological expertise therefore plays crucial role in patients with history

Background: Four vaccines have been authorized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA): viral vector-based (AstraZeneca; AZD1222 and Johnson & Johnson; Ad26.COV2. 2 mRNA-based (Pfizer/BioNTech; BNT162b2 Moderna; mRNA-1273). Adverse events (AEs) related to vaccination described in literature. The main aim of dermatological practice was avoid diffusion COVID-19, allowing continuity care for patients. Objective: this review article is investigate current literature regarding cutaneous reactions following COVID-19 vaccination, mainly inflammatory diseases. Materials methods: Investigated manuscripts included metanalyses, reviews, letters editor, real-life studies, case series, reports. Results: We selected a total 234 articles involving more than 550 divided results section into various sub-sections ensure greater understanding readers. Conclusions: Clinicians should keep mind possibility new onsets or worsening several dermatoses order promptly recognize treat these AEs. Certainly, not be discouraged.
