Abstract Fetal neurology addresses counselling parents on the clinical significance of brain anomalies encountered in their fetus, including disruptive lesions (i.e. stroke, periventricular haemorrhagic infarction, and infection), genetically based cortical hemimegalencephaly, lissencephaly, cobblestone malformation, polymicrogyria, heterotopia) or posterior fossa cerebellar agenesis hypoplasia, rhombencephalosynapsis, Dandy–Walker syndrome, mega cisterna magna, Blake's pouch cyst). Unlike paediatric neurologists, fetal neurologists cannot examine infant directly so they diagnose prognosticate using imaging other diagnostic studies. The integration into multidisciplinary teams is essential for providing expert cohesive care. This review emphasizes need specialized training, collaboration, development comprehensive service designs to ensure consistent effective care families. Additionally, it critical role identifying early thorough parents, helping them understand prognosis, potential interventions, long‐term outcomes unborn child.
