Tomatoes are important horticultural crops worldwide. Verticillium wilt is a disease caused by dahliae that causes serious tomato yield losses. V. can be classified into three distinct races in tomatoes. We identified the specific VdR3e gene of race 3 and found triggered immune responses resistant cultivar IVF6384. confirmed triggers parents IVF6384 plants conducted transcriptome sequencing between male female after infiltration to analyze potential regulatory network response VdR3e. both had series detoxification stress resistance VdR3e, but those parent were concentrated resistance-related signaling pathways. Moreover, several vital differentially expressed genes involved functional annotation related plant–pathogen interactions plant hormone stimulated Nicotiana benthamiana. This study provides new comprehensive perspective on wilt.
