Mortality from cutaneous malignant melanoma (CMM) increased in the past, but trends have been favorable more recent years several high-income countries. Considering 20–44, Australia, New Zealand Northern Europe highest rates both sexes (>0.90/100 000 men >0.60/100 women) while Japan, Philippines, Latin America lowest ones (<0.50/100 <0.35/100 women, respectively). stable or upward countries, with higher among women. Our study highlights global reduction three decades. The awareness risk factors, mainly related UV exposure, along early diagnosis progress treatment advanced disease played pivotal roles reducing mortality, particularly Australia.
