Abstract
The
concept
of
migration
governance
has
captured
scholarly
attention
in
recent
decades.
In
this
paper,
we
present
the
results
a
bibliometric
analysis
and
scoping
review
explore
how
it
is
defined
by
authors
across
social
sciences.
Based
on
our
sample
literature,
find
that
majority
definitions
assume
state‐sovereignty
perspective
governance,
leading
to
discussions
can
fail
account
for
role
migrant
rights
autonomy.
Our
reflects
upon
result
discusses
other
findings
conflation
with
management
significance
externalized,
multi‐level
transnational
literature.
We
conclude
complex
must
