Heat-related illnesses persist as an occupational health management challenge. The science community recognizes increasing global temperatures and related impacts. Occupational settings such construction, agriculture, firefighting, hazardous waste operations, factory workers are most susceptible to heat-related incidents. We used established scoping review framework guidelines for developing the protocol, conducting research, reporting results. This provides overview of common wearable real-time technologies assess heat stress risk, well their use in existing research. adds literature by offering commercially available devices, identifying relevant device usage, describing validation studies associated with devices. Despite improving solutions, require thoughtful consideration accuracy, validity, worker interaction evidence synthesized this highlights key implementation strategies practical considerations guide future explorations evolving field. Moving forward, we must continue prioritize research cross-industry collaboration harness full potential technology promoting safety.

Thermal comfort in an office impacts physical health, stress, and productivity. Humidity affects thermal comfort; however, the underlying mechanism remains unclear. This study assessed influence of humidity on body temperature, comfort, their relationship working individuals. Thirteen participants performed three sets 20-min calculation tasks followed by a 10-min rest 26 °C or 33 with relative (RH) 30 % 60 %. Core temperature (T

Indoor temperature and relative humidity control in office buildings is crucial, which can affect thermal comfort, work efficiency, even health of the occupants. In China, fan coil units (FCUs) are widely used as air-conditioning equipment buildings. Currently, conventional FCU methods often ignore impact indoor on building occupants by focusing only a single object. This study FCUs with fresh-air system an Beijing research object proposed deep reinforcement learning (RL) algorithm to adjust air supply volume for FCUs. To improve joint satisfaction rate humidity, RL adopted Q-network algorithm. train algorithm, detailed simulation environment model was established Transient System Simulation Tool (TRNSYS), including model. The interact agent real time through self-developed TRNSYS–Python co-simulation platform. trained, tested, evaluated based results indicate that compared traditional on/off rule-based controllers, this increase 12.66% 9.5%, respectively. provides preliminary direction strategy heating, ventilation, (HVAC) systems.
