Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is beneficial for managing rosacea, and chlorin e6 derivative-mediated photodynamic (STBF-PDT) has demonstrated efficacy in reducing acne lesions with mild adverse reactions. This study aimed to assess the effectiveness safety of STBF-PDT treatment moderate-to-severe rosacea. In this prospective, randomised, evaluator-blind controlled study, patients rosacea were assigned receive up six sessions or 100 mg doxycycline daily eight weeks, followed by a 24-week follow-up. Chronic pruritus (CP), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and skin picking (SPD) are medical conditions that involve both somatic psychosocial dimensions, posing unique challenges in clinical management. While CP SPD often observed together, the link between ADHD these is less recognized. This conceptual work describes three women who suffered from a complex interplay of CP, ADHD, treated at our specialized bi-disciplinary psychodermatological clinic. Based on observation narrative review literature, we assume bidirectional, triangular relationship SPD. To support this assumption, propose two hypotheses: (1) neurodevelopmental hypothesis, emphasizing an underlying disorder, case, might present with symptoms like dysfunction sensory processing, impulsivity, attention deficits as shared features reinforce SPD, (2) neuroinflammatory suggesting similar signatures promote co-occurrence In addition, provide specific suggestions derived experience how to manage patients combination conditions. Seborrheic dermatitis (SD) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that primarily affects sebaceous-rich areas such as the scalp, face, and upper trunk. While precise etiology remains multifactorial, role of microbiome, particularly proliferation Malassezia species, alterations in barrier function are critical its pathogenesis. Disruption barrier, characterized by increased transepidermal water loss (TEWL) reduced production epidermal lipids, creates favorable environment for microbial overgrowth inflammation. Recent insights highlight interplay between impaired function, immune responses, microbiome perpetuating disease. Additionally, novel dermocosmetic approaches emerging target these underlying mechanisms, offering promising therapeutic avenues. This review provides comprehensive overview involvement dysfunction seborrheic discusses potential advanced treatments aimed at restoring homeostasis preventing recurrence.
