Immediate implant placement protocols after dental extraction have enabled a reduction in surgical phases. This procedure has increased patient satisfaction and similar survival rates to late procedures. However, placing an immediately does not counteract the physiological remodeling of alveolar bone. For this reason, additional techniques been developed, such as connective tissue graft (CTG) or socket shield technique (SST). Dimensional changes peri-implant tissues were observed immediate implants following CTG and/or SST. A total 26 interventions carried out which dimensional change variables analyzed.
