Abstract Seasonal transitions in avian reproductive cycles are governed by neuroendocrine adaptability. The molecular mechanisms behind seasonal regulation still not fully understood many species and remain an important area of ongoing research. Despite recognizing the importance regulatory genes, gaps persist comprehending exact processes that control between different phases. We investigated expression patterns Tsh‐β (Thyroid‐stimulating hormone subunit beta), Dio2 (Iodothyronine deiodinase 2), Dio3 3), GnRH‐I (Gonadotropin‐releasing I) mRNAs regulating reproduction both sexes Eurasian tree sparrow ( Passer montanus ). Adult sparrows n = 4 for each sex) were procured from wild, mRNA , along with gonadal size body weight, was examined on a monthly basis 1 year. Results revealed distinct annual sexes. Significantly higher expressions observed during breeding phase (April–May), while reported non‐breeding phase. synchronization pattern increase is associated growth, suggesting their potential involvement sparrows. Thus, cycle involves actions Dio2/Dio3 leading to activation deactivation via HPG (hypothalamic–pituitary–gonadal) axis.
