This
paper

interventions

Abstract
Objective
Our
goal
was
to
examine
potential
predictors
of
a
comprehensive
operationalization
eating
disorder
recovery,
characterized
by
physical,
behavioral,
and
cognitive
focusing
on
constructs
related
self‐concept,
personality,
negative
affect.
Method
Participants
were
women
with
history
an
who
provided
data
via
survey
interview
at
two
time
points
separated
about
7–8
years
met
criteria
for
diagnosis
baseline
(
N
=
36).
Results
Logistic
regression
models
revealed
that
self‐esteem
significant
predictor
recovery
status
(OR
1.12,

.039)

demonstrated
significantly
greater
odds
being

full
follow‐up.
However,
when
considered

phenomenon
anxiety,
no
single
construct
emerged
as
unique
logistic
analyses.

results

One
method
to
improve
treatment
outcomes
for
individuals
with
eating
disorders
(EDs)
may
be
understanding
and
targeting
individuals'
motives
engaging
in
DE
behaviors-or
the
functions
of
behaviors.

study

categorize
various
behaviors
from
perspectives
adults
who
engage
clinicians

EDs.Individuals

Anorexia
nervosa
is
a
paradoxical
disorder,
regarded
across
disciplines
as
body
project
and
yet
also
an
illness
of
disembodied
subjectivity.
This
overlooks
the
role
that
material
environments-including
objects
spaces-play
in
producing
embodied
experiences
anorexia
both
within
outside
treatment.
To
address
this
gap,
paper
draws
together
two
ethnographic
studies
to
explore
shared
themes
unearthed
by
research
participants'
engagements
with
move
boundaries
between
treatment
spaces
everyday
lives.
Demonstrating
how
anorexic

phenomenologically
lived
socio-medically
constituted,
we
argue
