ABSTRACT A knowledge‐based interactome maps interactions among proteins and molecules within a cell using experimental data, computational predictions, literature mining. These interactomes are vital for understanding cellular functions, pathways, the evolutionary conservation of protein interactions. They reveal how regulate growth, differentiation, development. Transitioning to functionally validated is crucial in developmental biology (Evo‐Devo), especially non‐model species, uncover unique regulatory networks, novelties, reliable gene interaction models. Abstract Background Sexual maturation in Atlantic salmon entails a transition energy utilization, regulated by genes and environmental stimuli sex-specific manner. Males require less energy, the form of adiposity, to mature typically younger than females. Maturation age is also influenced sex-dependent fashion vgll3 genotype ( vestigial-like 3 ), co-factor Hippo pathway. Abstract The pace of life (POL) is shaped by a complex interplay between genetic and environmental factors, influencing growth, maturation, lifespan across species. Hippo signaling pathway, key regulator organ size cellular homeostasis, has emerged as central integrator cues that modulate POL traits. In this review, we explore how the pathway links factors—such temperature fluctuations dietary energy availability—to molecular mechanisms governing metabolic balance, hormonal signaling, reproductive timing. Specifically, highlight regulatory interactions sensors (AMPK, mTOR, SIRT1 DLK1-Notch), well signals (IGF-1, kisspeptin, leptin, cortisol, thyroid sex steroids), which together orchestrate life-history traits, including growth rates, sexual with particular emphasis on their role in Furthermore, consider its potential coordinator POL-related processes, such telomere dynamics epigenetic mechanisms, within broader network.
