Background: Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) risk increases with intracranial aneurysms (IA), but their relationship remains unclear. Methods: We explored SAH-IA links using machine learning and bioinformatics, identifying 66 IA-related SAH genes. KEGG analysis highlighted pathways like NF-κB, TNF, COVID-19. Results: Two immune-related genes (ZNF281, LRRN3) were identified, a ceRNA network was constructed. Ten potential drugs screened via CMAP. Conclusion: ZNF281 LRRN3 may regulate immune (T cells, NK macrophages), influencing development, could serve as therapeutic targets.

Abstract Immune suppression heightens the risk for fungal infections, but mechanisms that result in clinical disease are poorly understood. Here we demonstrate macrophage ferroptosis, an iron-dependent form of regulated cell death, inhibits Aspergillus fumigatus ( Af ) killing. In a mouse tracheal transplant model infection, observed increase lipid peroxidation, decreased expression negative ferroptosis regulators Gpx4 and Slc7a11 , positive Ptgs2 Nox2 relative to syntransplants. Depletion macrophages recipients invasion. vitro iron overload reduced viability their capability kill spores, through decrease lysosomal acidification loss.
