The tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC) is a highly prevalent form of oral with poor prognosis and aggressive behavior. present study aimed to evaluate the association between tumor grade, clinical stage, survival outcomes in patients TSCC.. Patients history having TSCC, complete demographic data (age gender), through histopathological follow-up period six months were included. overall (OS) disease-free (DFS) participants determined.Histopathological grade was assessed as secondary objective. Kaplan-Meier analysis performed, conducted using method, log-rank test multivariable Cox regression model. A total number 162 included mean age 59.6 ± 15.7 years. majority (53.1%) women. Most classified Grade I (37.7%) Stage (46.3%). local recurrence metastasis rates 12.3% 4.3%, respectively. median OS DFS 46 7.8 36 5.7 months, Five-year 41.5% 36%. No significant correlation found patients' gender or histological grade. However, inversely related stage age, showing statistical significance (P < 0.05). Additionally, significantly influenced by size, lymph node involvement, Factors such patient impacted In contrast, associated Clinical factors including OS. ABSTRACT Objective To compare the clinicopathological characteristics and survival of two cohorts patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) from Spain Colombia. Methods Clinicopathological variables OSCC six maxillofacial surgery departments in Colombia were retrospectively reviewed. Variables compared according to country origin. Results We included 649 patients, 359 290 The Colombian cohort was younger, drank more alcohol, had less comorbidities, reported a greater mean number days both symptoms diagnosis then treatment, which ∼2.5 times longer cohort. diagnosed at advanced stage. treatment choice resective surgery. In cohort, received radio chemotherapy together Second primary tumors recurrences frequent sample (7.2% vs. 2.8%; p = 0.008) Spanish (32% 23.1%; 0.012), respectively. Overall similar between samples (HR 1.15; 95% CI 0.93–1.42; 0.195) disease‐specific worse one 1.30; 1.03–1.65; 0.027). Conclusions There epidemiological differences delay sample.
