A substantial body of literature examines the determinants burnout levels among street-level bureaucrats. However, one factor that has not been investigated in relation to reported public employees is perceived level belonging within an agency. We develop a theoretical rationale linking agency’s belongingness with employee’s feeling burned-out, expectation this relationship conditioned by gender. When analyzing perceptions local law enforcement officers, we find evidence support our expectations. ABSTRACT Background Emotional labour has been extensively investigated in the service sector, where employees manage their emotions to ensure a positive customer experience. However, there is dearth of research into how therapists perform emotional during therapy sessions. Thus, aim this study was explore psychotherapists' and counsellors' experiences performing therapeutic settings. Method The used qualitative design with an exploratory approach. Semi‐structured interviews were conducted four clinical psychologists counsellors. via video call lasted about 45–60 min. Thematic analysis identify emerging themes. ABSTRACT The purpose of this phenomenographic study was to examine the different ways in which a group research assistants who varied by university, department and gender understand anger they feel towards faculty members with whom interact.
