Abstract Gender‐responsive budgeting (GRB) has been introduced in over 80 countries to mitigate gender inequities. We evaluate if these reforms can influence policy making and enhance gender‐oriented accountability. Our analysis follows the process‐tracing methodology includes 20 in‐depth interviews. findings show significant public administration obstacles GRB, but success is possible institutions with proper leadership, human, technological resources. This study advances our understanding of operational limits highlights areas for future research on equity‐oriented reforms, sheds light issues that practitioners need account as they strive further equity.

Esto indica solo 3.5% variabilidad explicada contratos, sugiriendo influencias capacidades administrativas, políticas específicas condiciones económicas locales. Sugiriendo mayor inversión dinamismo administrativo. resultados subrayan necesidad incluir variables futuros estudios modelo complejo, recomiendan métricas evaluación supervisión optimizar procesos administrativos.

Abstract The study investigates how contractual and relational governance influence partner behaviors promote sustainability performance of infrastructure public‐private partnerships (PPPs). Survey data from 217 Chinese PPP projects were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling. This found that both have positive effects on sustainability, with having a stronger impact.
