Abstract Objectives Self-compassion has been associated with numerous benefits at a personal level. However, despite suggestions that self-compassion might also lead to for others, findings are inconsistent, and evidence regarding putative mechanisms is lacking. This pre-registered study examined whether values (self-transcendence, self-enhancement, conservation) mediated the link between compassion others (within one’s social network) in general population sample. Method A community sample ( n = 707) anonymously completed measures indexing demographics, self- other-focused compassion, an online survey. Methods: A total 405 teachers from four colleges in Tabuk City, Saudi Arabia, participated study September November 2023. standardized questionnaires measuring (The Brief Resilience Scale- BRS), Self-Compassion Scale-SCS), Emotion Regulation Scale-ERS), health (General Health Questionnaire-12) were used to collect data. bivariate correlation, regression, path analysis employed investigate their associations. Results: findings demonstrated significant positive impact (β=0.39, p< 0.001). Self-compassion emerged as mediator, strengthening association (β=0.18, 0.01). Expressed emotion is a construct that has so far been studied in clinical population, although this work proposes its study adolescent population without psychopathology. It three aims: 1) To analyse the psychometric characteristics of Level Emotion Scale relationship Spanish adolescents with their father and mother, considering different response format (dichotomic polytomic); (2) develop short version scale; (3) validity instrument as measure emotional climate normative families. Participants were 827 from 12 to 17 years old. Data analysis included exploratory confirmatory factor structural equation modelling. Results suggested 4-factor structure composed by 16 items, adequate properties. This presented an innovative appropriate tool for assessment family climate, both researchers clinicians. La emoción expresada es un constructo que hasta ahora ha sido estudiado en poblaciones clínicas, aunque este estudio se propone su adolescentes sin ninguna psicopatología. Este tiene tres objetivos: Analizar las propiedades psicométricas de la Escala Nivel Emoción Expresada para españoles relación con padre y madre, considerando diferentes formatos respuesta (dicotómico politómico); 2) Desarrollar una versión corta escala; 3) Estudiar validez escala como medida del clima emocional familias normativas. muestra estuvo compuesta entre años.
