Abstract The aim of the study was to determine effect ozone fumigation and spraying with microorganisms, i.e. yeast, on selected physiological parameters, extent disease infection tomato plants. Tomato plants were grown in ground under covers. Throughout 2021 2022 growing season, exposed variable factors, gaseous at a dose 2 ppm for 1 minute yeast. After ozonation measurements made plants, such as: parameters chlorophyll fluorescence (maximum quantum yield PSII photochemistry, maximum primary photochemistry) gas exchange (transpiration rate, stomatal conductivity intercellular CO concentration). In addition, content using SPAD method as well plant by diseases determined. Compared control sample, resulted slight decrease no visible leaf damage observed after process. However, use microorganisms did not significantly change examined parameters. Both application significant impact tested factors found reducing late blight, alter-nariosis, gray mold, bacterial canker spot tomato.

Cordia diffusa K.C. Jacob, known as Sirunaruvili, belonging to the family Boraginaceae, is a rare endemic species. The study aimed document morpho-anatomical and histochemical characteristics of C. facilitate its identification, it highly threatened steno-endemic plant. plant an evergreen, woody shrub with brownish-gray, lenticellate stems oblong-oblanceolate pubescent leaves. Flowers are yellowish-white, tubular, fragrant, arranged in umbellate cyme. Fruits drupe, turning from green orange when ripe, viscid edible pulp. Flowering fruiting occur year-round. anatomical results showed that adaxial surface leaves had more stomata than abaxial leaf surface. was due unicellular trichomes leaf's epidermal layer, some cells cystoliths. Petioles ridges, trichomes, collateral vascular bundles prominent water storage cells. Root exhibited radial arrangements, cortical region, endodermis, exarch xylem, secondary growth forming periderm layers. Sclerenchymatous fibers lignin accumulation were observed stem roots. presence carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, acidic neutral phenolic compounds, lignified cell walls, alkaloids various regions cell. micro-morphological properties several unique aspects for accurate taxonomic identification species delimitation, this work offers many valuable details taxonomists future research.
