Rice effective panicle is a major trait for grain yield and affected by both the genetic tiller numbers early tillering vigor (ETV) traits to survive environmental adversities. The mechanism behind bud formation has been well described, while genes molecular underlying rice-regulating ETV are unclear. In this study, candidate in regulating have sought quantitative locus (QTL) mapping bulk-segregation analysis resequencing method (BSA-seq) conjoint using rice backcross inbred line (BIL) populations, which were cultivated as late-season of double-cropping systems. By QTL mapping, seven QTLs detected on chromosomes 1, 3, 4, 9, with logarithm odds (LOD) values ranging from 3.52 7.57 explained 3.23% 12.98% observed phenotypic variance. BSA-seq analysis, 2, 5, 7, 9 identified single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) insertions/deletions (InDel) index algorithm Euclidean distance (ED) algorithm. overlapping resulting was shown 1.39 Mb interval chromosome 4. overlap interval, six genes, including functional unknown Os04g0455650, Os04g0470901, Os04g0500600, ethylene-insensitive 3 (Os04g0456900), sialyltransferase family domain containing protein (Os04g0506800), ATOZI1 (Os04g0497300), showed differential expression between lines late (LTV) missense base mutation genomic DNA sequences parents. We speculate that rice, provides research basis revealing rice.

Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is susceptible to various abiotic stresses, such as salt, cold, and drought. Therefore, there an urgent need explore the relevant genes that enhance tolerance these stresses. In this study, we identified a gene, OsNCED4 (9-cis-epoxycarotenoid dioxygenase 4), which regulates multiple encodes chloroplast-localized abscisic acid (ABA) biosynthetic enzyme. The expression of gene was significantly induced by 150 mM NaCl cold stress. Disruption CRISPR (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats)/Cas9-mediated mutagenesis resulted in significant sensitivity salt osnced4 mutant due reduction ABA content excessive accumulation reactive oxygen species (ROS) under Moreover, also drought stress rice seedlings. Taken together, results indicate new regulator for rice, provided potential target enhancing future.
