Abstract Seed dormancy is an adaptation that delays germination to prevent the start of this process during unsuitable conditions. It crucial in wild species but its loss was selected crop domestication ensure a fast and uniform germination. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) within considered candidate genes. Two glycosyl‐hydrolase (a β‐glucosidase β‐galactosidase), degrade complex polysaccharides cell wall, found among genes, one them had positive correlation (β‐glucosidase) gene expression capacity, other (β‐galactosidase) presented negative SCT.
