restructured

for
SafeSport

abuse.
Despite
these
developments,
significant
challenges
remain,
with
many
stakeholders
questioning
SafeSport's
ability

athletes
safe.

recent
developments
through
a
polycentric
governance
lens,
demonstrating
how
ongoing
events
can

explained
by
poorly
conceived
structural
arrangements
inadequate
processes
that
have
ineffective
co-ordination

approaches

“polycentric”
climate
governance
(PCG).
Yet,
there
has
been
limited
empirical
examination
whether
this
descriptive,
analytical,
and
normative
concept
can
aid
change
mitigation;
it

even
undermine
our
efforts
in
certain
contexts.
Thus
special
issue
examines
the
realities
PCG.

a
shared
definition
concept,
