Background: The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the fragility of healthcare systems, underscoring urgent need for preparedness in managing medical emergencies. This study aims to evaluate strengths and challenges within a tertiary care hospital, focusing on lessons learned improve future crisis management. qualitative investigates limitations Lady Hardinge college associated hospitals during pandemic. findings aim contribute development standardized plan epidemics Methods: Ethical approval was obtained, confidentiality maintained. research conducted from August 2022 December 2023 using purposive sampling. Data were collected through interviews focus groups with hospital staff across all levels, including administrators, faculty, residents, nurses, paramedics, support staff.
