Abstract Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) have a powerful impact on adolescents’ development. The greater the number of stressful life events experienced, more likely adolescents are to experience internalizing symptoms, such as anxiety. Due negative effects early adversity, it is essential that research examine which protective factors might mitigate this relationship, emotion regulation (ER) and attachment. In current study, researchers examined relationships between ACEs, ER, attachment, anxiety among adolescents. We hypothesized ER would mediate relationship ACEs attachment moderate within mediation model. A sample ( n = 105) completed measures adolescent anxiety, Using PROCESS macro, moderated model was analyzed. ABSTRACT Indonesian adolescents face an increased risk of developing mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety, largely due to insufficient literacy awareness. This lack knowledge often leads delayed recognition treatment. To address this, the present descriptive qualitative study explores adolescents' perceptions challenges needs. Fourteen from two public schools in Indonesia were selected through purposive sampling based on their scores (either high or low). One‐on‐one semi‐structured interviews conducted December 2023, thematic analysis was used uncover key patterns themes. The follows consolidated criteria for reporting research guidelines. Three main themes emerged: (1) Transitioning Adulthood: Journeys Through Emotional Turmoil Societal Expectations, (2) Navigating Challenges: Diverse Adolescent Responses (3) Breaking Silence: Empowering Adolescents Comprehensive Mental Health Education Support. found that faced specific related emotional regulation, body image self‐esteem, academic pressure influence social media. In response these difficulties, they employed various coping mechanisms, both adaptive maladaptive. Despite adversities, expressed a strong desire learn how better manage pursue future career goals. These findings highlight importance culturally appropriate education support programs adolescents. Accumulating evidence, as outlined by Self-Determination Theory (SDT), highlights the crucial role of emotion dysregulation and basic psychological needs in shaping various outcomes. Parental control may play a key understanding how these processes develop within family context. This study aims to examine intergenerational transmission from parents adolescents, focusing on indirect association parental this relationship. 210 Italian families living same household, consisting biological one adolescent (55% female) aged between 13 18 years old (M = 15.71, SD 1.76) participated study. The results showed that both mothers' fathers' higher were related their own levels control, while maternal need frustration was perceptions adolescents. In turn, adolescents adolescents' dysregulation. Furthermore, linked dysregulation, paternal frustration. These findings are explored context SDT highlight significance regulation ability adjustment.

In their daily work life, teachers experience various situations in which they need to regulate emotions. Possible factors that influence the use of different emotion regulation strategies include emotions and context experienced. Previous research mainly investigated teachers' at a single strategy level without considering multiple use, emotions, situational aspects well-being. This study aimed explore life. Furthermore, we examined specific well-being linked behaviour. total, 165 (mean age 43.31 years; 83.6% female) participated diary for two weeks. We assessed eight strategies, joy anger, valence situation emotional exhaustion. The data were analysed using multilevel latent profile analyses. found combinations (Level 1) person-level 2). At person-level, only few (17.4%) able flexibly apply situations, while most regulated predominantly with set strategies. Experiencing joy, as well situation, mattered level. Emotional exhaustion was not probability. findings highlight complexity regulation, revealing diverse patterns profiles influenced by factors, underscoring limited flexibility among teachers.

Abstract Introduction Emotion regulation (ER) develops during adolescence and contributes to psychosocial adjustment. Individual differences in the development of ER strategies may be related cognitive processes responsible for managing goal‐directed behaviors, namely executive functions (EFs). This study examined (1) how difficulties specific EFs (i.e., inhibition, flexibility working memory) predict use reappraisal, distraction, expressive suppression, rumination, support‐seeking) an emotion‐specific approach (2) investigated these links across three different age groups (corresponding early, middle late adolescence), considering nonlinear evolution relationships between EF adolescence. Methods The sample was composed 1076 adolescents aged from 12 19 years old who completed questionnaires on flexibility, social support‐seeking, rumination). Results showed various complex ER. Flexibility issues were rumination at all ages, while inhibition negatively linked reappraisal mid‐ Many emotion‐ age‐dependent.
