Background: Melasma therapy can be difficult and requires employing different treatment approaches. Laser is a good alternative for treating melasma, especially patients with refractory cases. Objective: To evaluate the efficacy safety of newcomer wavelength 675 nm diode laser in melasma darker skin types. Methods: Nineteen female facial were recruited. They received four sessions at one-month intervals using following parameters: power 5-6 W, pulse duration 100-150 ms, spacing 2000 mm, stack one up to 4 passes. One month after last session, evaluation was done subjectively through modified area severity index (mMASI) score objectively Antera 3D camera. Results: After treatment, there highly statistically significant reduction mMASI scores. In addition, scores on camera recorded differences treated areas' melanin hemoglobin average levels. Conclusion: The novel represents safe efficient approach phototype patients.
