The cerebrovascular response to incremental aerobic exercise is comparable between males and females. Whether this can be found in moderately trained athletes remains unknown. We aimed examine the effect of sex on until volitional exhaustion population. Background Stroke is a major cause of death and long-term disability worldwide, with varying incidence risk factors across different populations. This study aims to analyze demographic, clinical, laboratory for stroke among the Saudi Arabian population enhance understanding its behavior associated mortality. Methods In this retrospective cohort study, we analyzed data from 3586 patients diagnosed hemorrhagic or non-hemorrhagic at King Fahad Medical City January 1, 2020, November 11, 2022. We collected on demographic variables, past medical history, social nationality, components. Statistical analyses were performed using IBM SPSS Statistics Windows, Version 27.0. (Armonk, NY: Corp.), significance set p<0.05. Results The was predominantly male (57.86%) within age group 51 80 years (58.8%). A significant portion nationals (99.6%), hypertension (50.2%) diabetes (40.4%) being most common comorbidities. Laboratory abnormalities related sodium potassium levels strongly linked mortality rates. Notably, ischemic type all groups, except under 16, where more prevalent. Conclusions Our findings reveal associations between population, highlighting impact hypertension, diabetes, electrolyte imbalances. underscores need targeted prevention management strategies in Arabia, aligning global trends mitigate burden disease.

Objective This study aimed to explore the relationship between baseline bicarbonate levels and 30-day mortality in individuals with non-traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Methods Patients SAH were chosen from Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care (MIMIC)-IV database. The was examined using Cox regression models. Restricted cubic splines used test hypothesis that there an association mortality. With use of Kaplan–Meier survival curve analysis, we looked deeper into validity these correlations. To find subgroups differences, interaction tests utilized. Results retrospective cohort consisted 521 participants total. Bicarbonate had a negative death at 30 days (HR = 0.93, 95%CI: 0.88–0.98, p 0.004). Next, divided quartile groups. In comparison reference group Q1 (20 mEq/L), groups Q3 (23–25 mEq/L) Q4 (26 adjusted HR values 0.47 (95%CI: 0.27–0.82, 0.007) 0.56 0.31–0.99, 0.047). No definite conclusions can be derived this study, since is no obvious link Patients’ increased statistically significantly ( < 0.001, K–M analysis) patients low levels. remained consistent stratified observed interactions. Conclusion Finally, negatively associated are more risk if their low.
