Aim: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disorder marked by overgrowth of joint tissue and inflammation the synovium. The mammalian target rapamycin (mTOR), functioning as a serine/threonine protein kinase, recognized for its role in controlling cell proliferation, metabolism, inflammatory responses. While there some evidence hinting at link between RA proteins downstream mTOR, findings are not definitive. In light this, we have undertaken Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis to investigate potential connection mTOR RA.
