Chinese sacbrood virus (CSBV) is highly lethal to honeybee larvae (especially the larva of Apis cerana) and causes considerable losses beekeeping industry. N6-methyladenine (m6A) modification mRNA a predominant post-transcriptional in eukaryotes plays role viral infection. However, m6A CSBV infection remains unclear. Herein, we performed high-throughput sequencing for m6A-seq CSBV-infected non-infected investigate host transcriptome-wide modifications identify m6A-modified genes. A total 671 variant peaks were identified. Combined analysis expression revealed that significant correlation between methylation levels observed 668 Genes. It was proved can cause important changes host. We examined effects on two regulatory genes by qPCR. At same time, verified effect replication using RNAi technology. This study demonstrated first time A. cerana larvae, comprehensively analyzed pattern its mRNA, significantly promoted AcMETTL3 (Ac represents cerana, p = 0.007), but had no AcMETTL14. further confirmed negative (p 0.0432). These results lay foundation exploration
