Refugees within the post-migration context experience higher rates of mental health symptoms due to a variety pre- and factors. However, there is lack research in understanding best practices culturally grounded interventions aimed at improving well-being outcomes. Results demonstrated that improve symptoms, including post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety. Studies varied their use mechanisms developing implementing interventions. Abstract Despite the extent of traumatisation experienced by refugee groups, uptake evidence‐based interventions such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) remain low with high dropout rates. While this has been linked to cultural differences in help seeking and how illness is understood, little known about effective or acceptable adaptations CBT (CA‐CBT) are.
