Abstract In this research paper, we report a clean and simple approach for the phytosynthesis of nanoparticles zero-valent iron (nZVI) through in situ reduction Fe 2+ to 0 using red cabbage extract. These nZVI were then loaded onto Ti/Mo-MOF nanostructure, resulting formation novel nZVI@Ti/Mo-MOF nanocomposite. To synthesize iron, utilized extract as reducing agent. Subsequently, synthesized incorporated into create The characterization biosynthesized nanocomposite was conducted UV–vis spectroscopy, FT-IR, XRD, XPS, FESEM, EDS. used sensitive peroxidase colorimetric sensing cholesterol. The photocatalytic technology for indoor air disinfection has been broadly studied in the last decade. Selecting proper photocatalysts with high efficiency remains to be a challenge. By doping incorporation of metals, bandgap can narrowed while avoiding recombination photogenerated charge. Three (Ag-TiO2, MnO2-TiO2, and MnS2-TiO2) were tested sterilization process. results revealed that Ag-TiO2 had best antibacterial performance. Within 20 min, concentration Serratia marcescens (the bacteria) decreased log number ln 4.04 under 640 w/m2 light intensity 1000 µg/mL Ag-TiO2. During process inactivating bacteria, cell membranes bacterial was destructed thus decreasing activity enzymes releasing contents, due generation reactive oxygen species (O2•– •OH) thermal effect. Spectral regulation greatest impact on which reduces probability materials being excited.
