Abstract In cold and humid climates, warming temperatures will result in longer growing seasons, leading to land cover changes that could have long‐term impacts on groundwater recharge (GWR), addition the direct of climate change. The objective this study was therefore investigate whether (LC) need be considered when simulating regional‐scale potential GWR climates by (1) quantifying how LC impact simulated (2) combined future changes.
