Existing HIV prevention interventions, such as pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), and behavioral health treatments inadequately reach Latino men who have sex with (LMSM) in the US. This study involved formative research to inform content, design, implementation of a scalable, low resource strategy – peer ambassador stories from peers normalize using PrEP, testing, treatment. We conducted semi-structured interviews 20 LMSM elucidate their preferences for stories. Men were asked about story prompts, contributor characteristics, platform features, design preferences, recommendations enhancing adoption use technology among LMSM. Interviews transcribed analyzed via rapid qualitative analysis. Qualitative analyses identified 14 themes within 4 pre-specified domains. Collectively, unified around central concept that technology-delivered require personalized, relational, culturally relevant touch be acceptable appropriate suggests disseminating electronic platforms audio/video formats may enhance services if they are relevant. Findings broad implications informing other peer-based strategies mitigate disparities
