Autism
spectrum
disorder
(ASD)
is
a
neurodevelopmental
characterized
by
social
communication
deficits
and
other
behavioral
issues.
Autism,
escalating
as
global
health
concern,
has
yielded
substantial
discoveries
in
the
past
40
years.
This
paper
presents
comprehensive
review
that
summarizes
progress
etiology,
diagnosis,
therapy
of
autism
children.
We
searched
for
potentially
relevant
studies
three
databases
(Web
Science,
PubMed
CINAHL)
from
inception
until
March
2024.
In
addition,
we
manually
bibliographies
included
to
find
articles
might
otherwise
have
been
missed.
The
search
strategy
was
defined
identifying
key
terms
research
question
related
'autism',
'etiology',
'diagnosis'
'therapy'.
To
reduce
number
papers
cited,
most
recent
meta-analyses
were
used
whenever
possible.

on
our
judgement
quality
study

relevance

commonly
misunderstood
issues,

findings
clinically
relevant.
Finally,
this
current
status
research,

forward
future
directions,

explore
