Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental characterized by social communication deficits and other behavioral issues. Autism, escalating as global health concern, has yielded substantial discoveries in the past 40 years. This paper presents comprehensive review that summarizes progress etiology, diagnosis, therapy of autism children. We searched for potentially relevant studies three databases (Web Science, PubMed CINAHL) from inception until March 2024. In addition, we manually bibliographies included to find articles might otherwise have been missed. The search strategy was defined identifying key terms research question related 'autism', 'etiology', 'diagnosis' 'therapy'. To reduce number papers cited, most recent meta-analyses were used whenever possible. selected based on our judgement quality study or paper, its relevance controversial commonly misunderstood issues, whether findings clinically relevant. Finally, this current status research, looks forward future directions, calls more explore pathogenic mechanisms, diagnostic basis, therapeutic methods autism.

Both virtual reality (VR) and aromatherapy have shown significant potential in enhancing the health well-being of older adults. Aromatherapy has been noted to improve immersive quality VR experiences. However, combined use these interventions for adults not systematically explored. This scoping review aims identify existing programs supported by evaluate their outcomes on adults’ well-being. Following Joanna Briggs Institute methodology PRISMA-ScR guidelines, included both published unpublished studies. A search across ten databases yielded 901 publications, from which six studies were analyzed, involving 94 participants with a mean age 70 83 years. Results revealed positive impacts well-being, cognition, social engagement. Outcome measures physical, psychological, emotional, cognitive aspects like spatial orientation, stress, happiness, memory, interaction. Benefits enhanced awareness, reduced stress. Multisensory environments also fostered socialization through shared experiences nostalgia. individual differences indicate need personalized content. Despite promising findings, limited evidence supports clinical application nursing practice. Further research is required validate benefits combining aromatherapy.
