Abstract Visual guidance technology advances quickly and so do the technical requirements for weld trajectory, which needs to fulfill performance indices high precision, anti-interference quick processing. In this study, approach of getting 3D point cloud data by directly scanning workpiece be welded with a scanner is used because it more precise reliable than processing gray-layer obtained from depth camera, turning into cloud. After that, welding trajectory produced fitting point, transmitted back actuator guide its work realize identification tracking weld.
