Introduction

The
success
of
heated
tobacco
products
(HTPs)
and
electronic
cigarettes
(e-cigs)
has
been
largely
attributed
to
their
ability
mimic
the
gestural
experience
traditional
cigarette
smoking,
while
being
perceived
as
a
safer
alternative
due
absence
combustion,
well
appeal,
particularly
among
younger
populations.
Despite
initial
idea
that
these
new
devices
were
harmless,
recent
literature
reveals
concerning
expanding
body
evidence
on
potential
toxicity.
Thus,
this
review
aims

oxygen
species
generated
HTPs
e-cigs
induce
oxidative
stress
inflammation

Background:
Cigarette
smoke
causes
inflammation
of
the
alveoli,
leading
to
airflow
restriction
and
potentially
irreversible
changes
in
lung
architecture,
including
pulmonary
emphysema.
This
study
investigates
effects
a
six-week
aerobic
interval
training
regimen
on
elastin
activity
rat
model
cigarette
smoke-induced
COPD
(CS-COPD).
Objectives:
Specifically,
we
observe
variables

transforming
growth
factor-beta
(TGF-β1).
Methods:
Twenty
male
Wistar
rats,
