The poultry industry stands as a cornerstone in securing global food stability, both the present and foreseeable future. To continue to uphold this critical role, exploration of innovative, low-input feed sources is imperative. Hemp emerges promising candidate, offering locally sourced ingredients that not only reduce costs but also maintain high nutritional standards for livestock. This study delved into utilisation whole hemp seeds diet 100 Naked-neck Kabir chicks were divided randomly two dietary groups, one fed control (CTRL) deprived soybean meal with 10% inclusion Carmagnola (HEMP). Birds slaughtered at 81 days age. Physicochemical characteristics breast, thigh, liver, besides antioxidant content lipid oxidative status, investigated. HEMP birds exhibited higher daily weight gain final live compared CTRL group. Results revealed improvements fatty acid profiles group, leading good levels key nutrients such α-tocopherol, retinol, n-3 polyunsaturated acids. These findings underscore potential ingredient, standing poised sustainable ally fortifying productive chain.

Processing hemp seeds into foods generates several by-products that are rich in nutrients and bioactive phytochemicals. This paper presents a thorough plant metabolite analysis comprehensive assessment of the nutrient content 14 seed-based evaluates their feasibility to deliver dietary needs daily recommendations. The protein-85-product was food fudge by-product with highest protein, 93.01 ± 0.18% 37.66 0.37%, respectively. Hemp seed-hull flour had richest insoluble non-starch polysaccharide (39.80 0.07%). Linoleic acid most abundant fatty across all samples (ranging from 53.80 2.02% 69.53 0.45% cream). omega-6 omega-3 ratio varied 3:1 4:1 samples. majority were sources potassium, magnesium, phosphorus. Gentisic acid, p-coumaric syringaresinol metabolites measured found mainly bound form. seed valuable capable meeting and, therefore, should be re-valorized developing healthy formulations truly zero-waste production.
