Abstract Nowadays, Wordle, a daily puzzle game offered by the New York Times, is now becoming prevalent around world storm, and difficulty analysis of words has become hot topic. However, highly sensitive to feature extraction words, which undoubtedly creates great difficulties. Based on this, this paper proposes an improved K-means++ algorithm for clustering word difficulty, simulated verified in U.S. college students’ mathematical modeling C problem data. The results show that clusters 359 data into 6 classes A, B, C, D, E, F, determines class ERIE as B based distance between ERRIE attributes six centers. DB index value model high 0.815, variance (ANOVA) are very significant, proves accuracy model.

Background Recent work indicates that word frequency (WF), broadly defined as an estimate of how often a given is produced during spontaneous speech, has been shown to be sensitive marker for conditions like mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer’s disease (AD). WF linked declines observed in these groups. However, it largely unknown distinct classes change part normative aging, what extent factors education life experience may protect against age-related decline. Objective The current study examined its association with test performance older younger adults. Higher values indicate the use more common, higher frequently used words are readily retrieved from lexicon, whereas lower less words. Methods Expository speech transcripts 70 130 adults were analyzed. Subject-level indices computed all (AWs), content (CWs) function (FWs). Between-group differences neuropsychological using independent samples t-tests associations between evaluated Pearson correlations. Follow-up analyses clarified possible contribution education. Results average AW CW was associated poorer on mental reasoning (Cognitive Estimation Test). Though small, age groups remained significant after accounting levels. Conclusion results show generally preserved suggest healthy aging formal do not drive changes found other studies. If replicated, such findings shift early neuropathological rather than specific pattern influenced by sociocultural language exposure experience. Future studies examining lexical retrieval advancing will help clarify impact which analysis detection MCI AD.
