Individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) are at risk of having adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), especially those child protection and/or justice system involvement. The complex relationship between FASD and psychosocial vulnerabilities in the affected individual is an important clinical factor for comorbidity. This study (1) explored ACEs associated stressors individuals FASD; (2) investigated association negative outcomes, i.e., justice/child involvement; (3) examined comorbid conditions such as mood neurodevelopmental disorders.Data were collected retrospectively via file review from diagnostic clinics Western Australia. Abstract Focusing on the voices and experiences of victim/survivors non-recent institutional abuses, this chapter explores complexities diversity victimhood implications for justice discourses. It examines in victim/survivors’ understanding responsibility accountability how these diversities pose challenges to popular discourses more broadly as well needs/expectations their broad responses. In April 2020 a Group of Eight Taskforce was convened, consisting over 100 researchers, to provide independent, research-based recommendations the Commonwealth Government on "Roadmap Recovery" from COVID-19. The report covered issues ranging pandemic control and relaxation social distancing measures, well-being special considerations for vulnerable populations. Our work focused critical needs Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander communities; this paper presents an overview our Roadmap report. addressing global challenges posed by pandemics citizens around world, Indigenous people are recognised as highly vulnerable.
